Introducing Sintra, the newest addition to the family. She is two years old and we adopted her from the SPCA a couple of weeks ago. We had been thinking about getting a cat for a long time, as the boys absolutely love cats and we used to have to go for walks round the neighbourhood just to find them. She's a real sweetie, very friendly and affectionate, but also very playful. Unfortunately she seems to be most playful in the evening, just after the boys have gone to bed, and likes to tear around the house pouncing on things and chasing anything she can find. So much for our quiet evenings!
She is great exercise for Connor, who likes racing round with a piece of string for her to chase, vaulting over the furniture and running around the house like a mad thing.
Connor has a toy guitar that he loves. He often jumps around 'playing' it and singing, but has been talking a lot about having a guitar that plugs in to play rock and roll (I think he saw it on one of their DVDs). We often dance around the house to various types of music, and Bruce decided to put on some heavy rock to show him how it's done (ahem) - yes that is a sink plunger he is playing and using as a microphone...
