It's been quite a week. Bruce went back to work on Monday feeling pretty good after his nasty flu and bronchitis, only to have a rapid deterioration a few hours into his day and came home looking absolutely terrible, shaking with a high fever. I rushed him back down to the doctor that evening, who sent us straight up to the hospital. Bruce was put on IV antibiotics and diagnosed with pneumonia, so spent the last two nights up in the hospital and came home today. He's feeling much much better apart from a nasty cough, and has been signed off work for the rest of the week. We're hoping that this third lot of antibiotics and the hospital stay will finally set him on the road to recovery!

Apart from that, both our cars failed their WOF (that's MOT in uk speak) and are costing and arm and a leg to fix, Bruce's Dad has been in hospital (for a scheduled operation) and I had to take Byron to the doctor with conjunctivitis after picking Bruce up from the hospital today. Found out a couple of days ago that both boys have been exposed to chicken pox at playcentre over the last week or two, so with the way things have been going I won't be at all surprised if I see spots start appearing!!! Think I'll go and buy a Lotto ticket...

On a far more positive note, Paul came over to visit today, and was his usual entertaining self with the boys. He's very good at finding different ways to use their toys!

After seeing Uncy Paul standing inside the tunnel, Connor decided he needed to get in with him

Of course, Byron didn't want to be left out!
