Apologies for lack of updates (have had complaints!). Will try to do more little and often!

We have had lots of what, where and who questions from Connor for a while, but he asked his first 'why' question the other day. We were overtaken by an ambulance with it's siren blaring and he asked why it was making that noise. He comes out with little gems daily now, such as telling people when they need a haircut (including a man serving in a shop today, although thankfully he told me 'that man needs a haircut' and I don't think the man in question heard!!!).

I'm also trying to explain to him that when I ask him to say bye bye to the man or bye bye to the lady (usually a shopkeeper) he should just say bye bye, and not 'bye bye man' or bye bye lady' (slightly cringeful, but does make sense I guess as he would say bye bye Daddy etc when knowing someone's name!).

Finally a photo of Byron with his teeth (taken a couple of weeks ago). He's got two eye teeth coming through at the moment, which are really causing him pain poor thing. He was sick with a high temp for a few days recently so hasn't had a good week (he's had a little fringe cut since this photo, but strangely enough it wasn't requested by Connor).

We had a fantastic weekend away last weekend, with our friends Andrea and Richard at their bach at Omaha beach. The weather was gorgeous and Bruce and I had our first taste of jet skiing, which was absolutely fantastic fun, we both loved it!!

Byron and Lily made such a cute pair and seemed to enjoy their baths together. You wouldn't think by looking at them that Lily is nearly five months older than Byron, they're about the same size!

Not a very good picture but the closest one I have of either of us on the jet ski (this is me).

Connor couldn't believe his luck recently when our local cafe ran out of 'fluffy' cups and he got a full sized one (a fluffy is a kiddy 'coffee', basically warm milk with froth and chocolate sprinkled on top - usually served in an espresso sized cup).
