We've had a couple of weeks of work being done on the house, which has been great, things are finally underway! The french doors are in the study and the large window has been moved to our bedroom, and both make a huge difference. The carpenter has a couple of bits to clean up on Monday then he will be finished. Of course now we have lots of extra jobs to do like plastering, painting etc but it's fantastic to be getting things done. Hoping to hear back from the contractor who's doing the landscaping soon to have a start date for that.

We took Connor for his first haircut yesterday, which was a bit overdue as he looked like he'd been styling it on Donald Trump. Had it all cut off and now he looks much smarter and more grown up! He was very well behaved at the hairdressers, but wanted to move around to see what was happening a lot, it didn't phase him at all, even when the clippers came out...

Nearly there

The end result (didnt' think I'd have to buy gel for him quite this early!)

A long time since my last post, we are still here! Couldn't update photos again, such a pain when that happens. We had a very relaxing Easter, did a bit of work in the garden, took Connor to the park and zoo, caught up with some friends and generally had a lovely time (great weather too, which was fantastic). We're finally getting somewhere with our garden/landscaping, and Bruce has demolished the hideous old concrete deck at the back of the house. Finally decided on the work we want done, but now waiting for the landscaper to say when they can go ahead as they're so busy - there's always something! I have a feeling it's bound to be in the middle of the next baby's arrival... speaking of which, definitely have a bump now and have finally given in and started wearing maternity clothes! Less than four months to go now...

Here are a couple of recent photos:

Getting Connor trained up on the housework before his brother arrives

Trying out a potential new car that Dad was test driving (although he's probably not getting it now, even though it would make him the coolest Granddad ever!).
