CHRISTMAS DAY 2005

We had a lovely, relaxing Xmas day at our place. Connor had some presents first thing, then Bruce and I opened ours while he had his sleep. Dad and Paul arrived late morning with more presents (do you see a theme emerging?), and Bruce's parents, sister and grandmother came early afternoon, along with my Great Uncle Phillip and cousin Chris. We had a great traditional Xmas dinner with turkey, stuffing, roast veges and pudding which went down very well (sorry but I can't buy into the BBQ on Xmas Day thing - must be my English upbringing!). This was followed, not surprisingly, by more presents, wine, whisky, port, cheese etc and a bit of a well deserved rest (ha ha). Connor was really good and practically fell into bed after a day of full on attention by so many people. All in all a great day...

Connor was fascinated by the bee made from balloons that was sitting in his Christmas stocking whe he woke up (he loves balloons).

After being so good all week at leaving the presents alone (much to my amazement), Connor was very excited to finally touch, shake and tear open the mystery boxes and bright paper wrapped goodies under the tree!

Uncle Paul gave Connor an 'alphabet pal', which he was very taken with. Connor quite liked it too...

Christmas dinner (minus Bruce, who was taking the photo), including Bruce's Nan and my Uncle Philipp, who are both 92!
